More on choice and the NDIS

The piece I did last week for the Conversation on choice and disability seems to have generated quite a bit of interest within the mainstream media.  Before I headed off overseas I did a number of different media appearances.  Cynically I think that some of this interest may have been generated by the fact that I mentioned using public budgets to purchase things like sex work and lap  dancing club visits.

But in a more positive way I hope that this is because there is genuine interest in creating better people centred services for individuals with disability.  Certainly this seemed to be the perspective of former Federal Minister Amanda Vanstone when she spoke to me for her show Counterpoint on the ABC.  If you want to listen to the piece it is available here.
